Dolcetto is a black, italian grape from Piemonte. Dolcetto means "little sweet one" due to its sweetness at the haverst time. This grape from Alba produces fruity and tannic wines, typical odor, with a very distintive flavor and long aftertaste. Not to be confussed with Dolcetto from the region of Asti, which is milder.
